How I Manifested My First Commercial Through Visualization, Inspired Action & Trusting the Universe

Manifestation has a beautiful way of working when we least expect it — and my first commercial is the perfect example of that. I still smile when people come up to me and say,

This was after shooting my first commercial for a Law Firm at the age of 41. It was such a magical moment. ✨ 

“Hey V, I just saw your commercial again!” Because honestly… the journey to that moment was pure magic.

It wasn’t luck.
It wasn’t a coincidence.
It was visualization, scripting, inspired action, and a whole lot of trust in God/the Universe/Source.

Today I want to share the real, behind-the-scenes story of how I manifested my very first commercial — even when the timing looked impossible and the steps didn’t make sense. I hope it inspires you to trust your own path a little more deeply.

It Started With a Vision I Could Feel in My Body

Like everything I manifest, it began in my imagination.

I used to visualize myself on set — lights on me, cameras rolling, people adjusting my hair, hearing “And… action!” as if it were real.

I didn’t just see it, I felt it. I scripted in my journal about being chosen for something big, something fun, something aligned with my soul.

I didn’t know how it was going to happen.
I didn’t have a timeline.
But I trusted that the Universe heard me.

The vision felt too natural, too familiar, too aligned for it not to come true.

Taking Inspired Action: The Model Call

Visualization is powerful, but manifestation always needs some action behind it.

And one day, my intuition nudged me to find a modeling agency within the new area we were stationed.  After searching, I saw a posting for a model call.

Normally, I would have second-guessed myself.

“Am I ready?

"Will this be my time?"

“Do I even know what I’m doing?”

“Who am I to show up for this as an almost 40-year-old?”

But something inside of me whispered, Go.

So I listened.

I felt my hard work of practicing my runway walk, poses, and taking care of my body was going to come into play.

I showed up to the model call with confidence that wasn’t even mine — it felt like the Universe was already holding the door open for me. And guess what?
I was chosen.

Being selected was the first confirmation that my manifestations were moving.

Growing Into My Future Self: Acting Classes

After the model call, I felt a pull to grow even more. I could see the version of me who booked commercials, and she wasn’t waiting around — she was learning, practicing, improving.

So, I enrolled in acting classes.

Walking into that first class felt like stepping into my future. I didn’t know then that this decision would connect me directly to my first commercial, but that’s the beauty of inspired action — you don’t have to know where the step leads… you just take it.

The Call That Changed Everything

One day, out of nowhere, my inbox lit up with a message from a casting agent, who was the co-owner of the acting studio I was attending. 

She told me that the local news channel was looking for an actress the very next day.

It needed to be someone who fit my look, my energy, and my availability.

But here’s the thing…

My kids were in school.
My husband was out of town.
Logically, it made no sense.

But spiritually?
Emotionally?
Intuitively?

It made perfect sense.

This was the moment all my visualizing, scripting, and aligned action had been preparing me for.

So I said YES.
Even though everything around me said it wasn’t practical.

Trusting the Universe… Even When Things Made No Sense

The next day came, and I did something bold:

I took my kids with me.  I picked them up from school and went to the set.  I wasn't worried about them misbehaving either because they were always very well-mannered. 

Most people would’ve backed out.
Most people would’ve said, “Another time.”
Most people would’ve let fear lead.

But I trusted the Universe.

And you know what?
It all worked out beautifully.

The crew was accommodating.
The kids were fine, especially since it was shot outside.
My energy was aligned.
And the commercial?
Perfect.

It was one of those moments that made me realize:
When the Universe says it’s your time, everything rearranges itself so you can shine.

The Commercial That Still Lives On

What makes this story even sweeter is that my commercial is still being shown today. 

Every few months, someone messages me saying they just saw it again.

Every time, it reminds me:
I trusted the visual I saw in my mind long before it became real.
I took messy, imperfect action.
I said yes when it didn’t make sense.
I followed the signs.
I stepped into the version of me who was already “that girl.”

And because of that, the Universe met me halfway.

It’s one of my proudest moments — not just because I booked a commercial, but because I saw firsthand how manifestation really works when you surrender.

What I Learned (So You Can Apply It Too)

Here are the biggest lessons from this manifestation:

1. Visualize like it’s already real.

Feel the moment. Live in it mentally first.

2. Say yes even when conditions aren’t perfect.

The Universe works in ways you can’t see yet.

3. Take the steps that feel aligned.

Acting classes didn’t guarantee anything… but they opened a door.

4. Trust yourself and your timing.

If you’re being called to something, there’s a reason.

5. Don’t wait for everything to be convenient.

Miracles often show up when life is messy.

Final Thoughts On How I Manifested My First Commerical

Manifesting my first commercial reminded me that magic happens when intention meets action and trust. When I think back on it, I realize how everything — every journal entry, every visual, every class — was secretly preparing me.

And that’s the most beautiful part of manifesting:
You may not see the whole path, but the Universe does.

So keep visualizing.
Keep scripting.
Keep taking inspired action.
And when the Universe offers you an opportunity — say yes.

You never know how far that one decision will take you.
